CIRa training approach

CIRa Training Approach is generally based on the above-mentioned principle, which means that the CIRa trainers support and prefer the LEARNING BY DOING APPROACH! We think that it is necessary to allow participants to actually do and exercise the subject thought in practice in order to achieve the best learning results.

“What I HEAR I FORGET, what I SEE I REMEMBER, but what I DO I UNDERSTAND”
(Confucius, 451 B.C.)

Undoubtedly, a Trainer has many roles and responsibilities, but however, his/her basic one always remains to provide the trainees with the necessary Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Behavior. By doing that, the Trainer will develop and improve trainees’ existing skills and abilities in whatever subject is being taught and the understanding will be fully achieved.

Learning is“a relatively permanent change in behavior that occurs as a result of practice or experience” (Bass & Vaughan 1967)

Indeed, participant-centered learning is where participants work in both, groups and individually to explore problems and become active knowledge workers rather than passive knowledge recipients. In fact, trainers become more mentors and facilitators guiding and assisting the participants to access, organize and transfer knowledge to solve authentic problems and to find answers to real life problems (Harmon SW. & A Hirumi, 1996).

"Students should be presented with real life problems and then helped to discover information required to solve them" (John Dewey)
