za_na_web_turizamThis year CIRa will be implementing the axis 5 "Tourism" from the Project "Decentralized cooperation between regions of Lower Normandy and the Republic of Macedonia". This axis is based on results already achieved by the former axis "Sustainable Tourism". Within the same axis, CIRa will work on creating a strategy for tourism development in the Southwest Planning Region and strengthening the capacities of local authorities in the field of tourism development.

Srdzan Amet (CIR), project coordinator stated:
"This is an important step that is taken under the program, which I believe will significantly contribute to the decentralization processes and will encourage citizen’s participation. CIRa, as partner in this project will be fully dedicated to the creation of quality strategy for tourism development and to continued strengthening of the capacities of local authorities, which is in line with the objectives of the program and the goals of our own organization. "

Cooperation in the field of tourism is important for developing the capabilities of the local stakeholders from the public and the private sector. It is also important for encouraging the development of tourism in the Southwest region.
