On July 11, 2011 on a special event that took place in Aleksandar Palace Hotel in Skopje, the winners of Annual Philanthropy and Social Responsibility Awards for 2010 were announced.
The Philanthropy and Social Responsibility Awards are traditionally part of CIRa annual activities with main purpose to acknowledge both legal entities and individuals for their contribution and promotion of values such as solidarity, esteem, ethics, humanity and philanthropy.
The award committee comprised of six members evaluated each of submitted 47 nominations and came to decision to confer these awards in 15 categories:
1. Award for responsible approach towards employees- GEMAK Trade
2. Award for responsible approach towards environment - MAKPETROL AD Skopje
3. Award for corporate philanthropy for small enterprise - UNIVERSAL SABAN dooel
4. Award for corporate philanthropy for medium-size enterprise - ECOLOG dooel
5. Award for corporate philanthropy for large enterprise - ONE Telecommunications AD Skopje
6. Award for comprehensive approach towards social responsibility for small enterprise - Rade Koncar TEP
7. Award for comprehensive approach towards social responsibility for medium-size enterprise - VIP Operator DOOEL Skopje
8. Award for comprehensive approach towards social responsibility for large enterprise - Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje
9. Special award for corporate manager for provision of strategic impulse for development of social responsibility in Macedonia - Mr. Viktor Donevski
10. Award for development of philanthropic practices for CSO - Red Cross of City of Skopje
11. Award for philanthropic practices for media - BIZNIS - Daily Economic Newspaper
12. Award for philanthropic practices for institution - University for Tourism and Management Skopje
13. Award for individual philanthropist from Macedonia - Prof. D-r. Ljupco Ajdinski
14. Award for individual philanthropist from Diaspora - Mr. Nake Tufekdziev
15. Award for lifetime devotion towards philanthropy in R. Macedonia - Mr. Minco Jordanov
The Philanthropy and Social Responsibility Awards 2010 Ceremony was organized with support of the European Union, Business Leaders Forum Macedonia, Mlekara Zdravje Radovo and Kozuvcanka dooel.
